Teaching Philosophy
Karate USA is the proud home of

We teach an intelligent curriculum
To most, martial arts is simply the study of combat techniques for practical self defense and combat sport techniques for competition. While this is one small aspect of martial arts, the Karate USA system empowers the student with character based intelligent curriculum…
Our curriculum teaches students beyond kicks and punches.
Here’s some of what our intelligent curriculum includes:
Conflict Resolution
Martial arts promotes peace through morals, universal respect, anger management, and self-control.
Healthy Eating

Diabetes endangers far more children than bullies and predators. A healthy diet is self defense.
Project Based Leadership

We practice being the change we want to see through unique leadership project requirements.
Self Discipline

There is a difference between obedience and discipline. Our students are given the tools to do what’s right on their own.
Community Improvement

Martial Artists are role models. We practice taking our skills out of the studio and into the world.
Effective Self Defense

The world presents situations and circumstances beyond “bad people” our students are given the tools to deal with.
Our instructors are active students and role models.
The absolute worst thing that can happen to any teacher, coach, or instructor is stagnation. In order to be the best instructors we can be, we continue to be the best students we can be, the best parents we can be, the best friends we can be, and the best neighbor we can be.
When a teacher ceases being a student and ends their active pursuit of self-mastery, they become worthless as a leader.Kevin Geary, Windermere Studio Director
Our instructor staff continues to train consistently and expand their martial arts knowledge. They serve as role models by doing everything they expect of their students. They actively lead students down the path of self-mastery. They’re a different kind of instructor that you don’t see very often and we think you’ll notice that when you watch them work.
From us, to our students, to the world…
Our program is successful because it teaches students how to express every aspect of martial arts in the real world. It motivates them to do what’s right, to be productive citizens, to be confident in themselves, and to motivate others to do the same through true leadership; being the change they want to see.
